When life gives you lemons… you throw the sweetest little wedding ceremony on the block… literally, your own block! Liz and Mark didn’t let anything stop them from saying ‘I do’… and nothing - not the change of plans, not a quarantine, not the gale-force winds - could have taken these radiating smiles from their faces.
A salty mist in the air hovering over the rolling hills of wildflowers and marshlands, Megan and Paul’s Crane Estate wedding felt like a genuine fairy tale. As we playfully meandered through the ethereal landscape. I remember being struck by the true sparkle both Megan and Paul had in their eyes that day. The respect and admiration these two have for each other is palpable and was so lovely to capture in photographs.
Lauren and Geof were married in a botanical bliss known as The Sundy House in Delray Beach, Florida. I was honored to be chosen to capture this STUNNING occasion ~ complete with a “fake-out” first look (well done to to Lauren and the brother-of-the-groom!), loads of adorable kiddos, and striking love all around. Cheers to you both!
Jarrod and Kristen, along with their nearest and dearest, rang in the new year with a festive, heartwarming, and wild wedding celebration on the Charles River. From the moment these two laid eyes on each other on a rooftop overlooking the Boston skyline, the smiles never faded from their faces. This wedding definitely pulled at my heartstrings with so many touching details, beautiful words, and vibrant energy all around. Cheers to you, Jarrod and Kristen! Happy New Year!
Anna and Andrew’s wedding was straight out of a fairy tale. In the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, this adorable pair said their ‘I do’s’ under an old oak tree surrounded by their closest family and friends, as the warm September light danced around them. The way these two look at one another would bring a smile to even a stranger’s face… simply, a beautiful look of pure, loving elation. This familial affair was stunning from start to finish with a palpable sense of love, light, and sisterhood.
Down to the very last detail, this wedding was truly a team effort! Johanna and Glen were married at their home in Woodinville, WA surrounded by lush evergreens and twinkling August light. It was here that their two families officially became one and it was lovely to witness!
The Nest at Seattle's Thomspon Hotel was the perfect location for these two lovebirds to tie the knot. Celene and Matt were joined by their three beautiful kiddos to officially unite their soon-to-be "wolfpack" of six, while overlooking the Puget Sound as the Blue Angels flew overhead. Prior to their rooftop ceremony, we took a leisurely stroll through Pike Place Market. Despite the crowds, these two only had eyes for each other ~ the fierce, loyal Celene and the vibrant, attentive Matt. This wedding and this family was truly a delight to capture!
The minute we met Taylor and Daniel for the first time, we were struck by just how incredibly sweet, down-to-earth, and IN LOVE these two are! The brilliant smiles on their faces in each and every one of these photos only solidifies our initial feelings toward these lovely people. Taylor & Dan said their vows on the lawn of The Edgewater House with sweeping, breathtaking views of Puget Sound. Their close-knit family and friends from all over the world came together for this very special occasion. There were, however, TWO particularly special guests of honor ~ their darling (and feisty) little daughter and their adorable (and bashful) little boy. Capturing the pure love that exists amongst this delightful little family on their wedding day was an absolute joy! Cheers to you, Taylor & Dan!
Stephanie and Layne chose to get married in the beautiful town of Duxbury, Massachusetts. A couple of days before their wedding, I got to meet the happy couple for their engagement session, where they frolicked around in a field full of wildflowers. The day of their wedding, we met at Shipyard Lane Beach for their 'First Look' and their happiness was contagious ~ spreading throughout the beach full of swimmers and fishermen as they looked on. We continued on to the Duxbury Bay Maritime School, where they said their vows and then took a romantic cruise through the Duxbury Harbor. They danced and smiled with their friends and family until the sun went down. A nautical New England wedding at it's finest!
I LOVE senior portrait sessions ~ especially with subjects like Jordan! Easy-going, friendly, and beautiful, this senior was a JOY to work with! I distinctly remember my Duxbury senior photo session (almost twenty years ago...yikes!), so it was pretty crazy to be back in town on the other side of the camera photographing some awesome Duxbury High School (soon-to-be) grads! Enjoy!
I can't imagine a sweeter couple than Anna and Andrew. Looking at these photos brings the most heartfelt smile to my face, just as witnessing their playful, loving interactions did throughout their engagement session on Nantucket - the extraordinary island they call home and one of my favorite places on the planet.
I only first met Lyndsay and Reed this past May for their Massachusetts engagement session on the East Boston waterfront. I was immediately struck by the warmth that radiated from their convivial and heartfelt personalities. By the end of our sunset session, I truly felt as though Reed and Lyndsay were my old, dear friends.
Two of the lovliest people I know are expecting their first baby in August! I'm lucky to call Jen and Tim the dearest of friends and am over the moon excited to welcome their special little lady into this world. The last time we took photos on the Hudson River was three years ago ~ for their engagement session. It seemed only fitting to revisit this beautiful place to celebrate yet another incredibly special time in their lives. The love these two share is so evident in each and every one of these images. I cannot wait to witness the love they will undoubtedly shower over their precious baby girl!
When Sarah and Jamie asked me to photograph their Boston wedding this fall, I was thrilled! I love my Duxbury hometown connections! These two were a delight to work with throughout their Boston engagement session in the Charlestown Navy Yard. The bride-to-be, Sarah had coordinated with Courageous Sailing on Pier 4 to have three sailboats set up with the date of their wedding ~ 11 / 3 / 18 ~ which was such an awesome idea! We went on to stroll through the brick lined streets, the Boston skyline in the background, and the most gorgeous light streaming down on us. What a beautiful evening all around!
We were introduced to Lyndsay and Reed by some of our Duxbury-turned-Seattle friends and could not be more excited about their upcoming wedding! This gorgeous couple is getting married in one of my favorite Pacific Northwest locations - Orcas Island! Not only that, but they are from my home state of Massachusetts and chose to have their engagement session in their East Boston neighborhood - with the most breathtaking view of the Boston skyline in the distance. These two made my job super easy with their playful, laid-back, and fun attitudes! Two more weeks and we will all be hitting the ferry heading out to Orcas! This is going to be a blast!
To say Ashley & Ed's Portland wedding was a rockin' good time would be an understatement! These two, along with their amazing guests were grinning from ear to ear all day long - throughout their intimate ceremony overlooking Lake Oswego on to the rowdy reception as they cut up the dance floor to the music of Pressure Point Band. It was such a blast having the chance to document this beautiful celebration!
Laura and Pete chose to host their wedding in Tacoma, WA and we wanted to make absolutely sure to take advantage of the city's strong, industrial, and eclectic character. After capturing what might have been the sweetest first look we've ever seen... we strolled along the brick lined streets surrounded by lush flowering trees, colorful wall murals, and historic architecture. We made our way to Historic 1625 - originally a 1940s auto dealership remodeled into a chic wedding and event space. Laura and Pete celebrated among a lovely and down-to-earth group of friends and family. Sean and I were honored to have the opportunity to document your wedding story, Laura and Pete. Cheers to you!
We met these two down on the beaches of Saltwater State Park and let's just say, this was a photographer's dream scenario! Strolling along the shores of Puget Sound with their pup, watching the most gorgeous sunset over the Olympic Mountains, and celebrating their upcoming Spring wedding in Tacoma... life is good.
mber & David are literally a photographer's dream come true. They were ready to go hours early on their wedding day in order to adventure through the city with us on a photo tour through Seattle! The groom first laid eyes on his bride in the lobby of the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. From there, we made our first stop on the blustery, but scenic Jose Rizal Bridge, made our way down and through Pioneer Square, hit Pike Place Market, then caught the sunset at Myrtle Edwards Park. This whirlwind adventure took place in thirty degree temperatures no less... let's just say that these two were absolute troopers!
What do you do when your you're adorable little girl is having a tough day and even the Duxbury Beach doesn't cheer her up? You take her for Ice Cream at Far Far's, of course!
A lovely family photo session just in time for Mother's Day!
